1. What is artificial jewellery made of?

Our artificial jewellery is crafted from high-quality, hypoallergenic materials like surgical steel, brass, zinc alloy, and sterling silver plating. We use premium rhinestones, cubic zirconia, acrylic pearls, and enamel for embellishments. All materials are selected to be skin-friendly and durable.

2. Will the jewellery cause skin allergies or turn my skin green?

Our core collections are made with hypoallergenic bases and often have a protective coating to prevent direct metal-skin reaction. However, extreme sensitivity varies by individual. To minimize risk, we recommend applying a clear nail polish coat on the inner parts that touch your skin. The green tint (from copper oxidation) is rare with our plating, but keeping jewellery dry helps prevent it.

3. Is the colour plating permanent? Will it fade or tarnish?

The gold, rose gold, and rhodium plating are done with high-quality processes for longevity. However, like all plated jewellery, it can eventually tarnish with prolonged exposure to sweat, perfumes, chemicals, and moisture. With proper care, you can enjoy its shine for years.

4. Is this jewellery waterproof?

No. We strongly advise removing your artificial jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or washing hands. Constant exposure to water, chlorine, and soap will significantly accelerate tarnishing and damage.

5. How do I clean and store my artificial jewellery?
  • Cleaning: Use a very soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently polish. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution, dip a soft cloth in it, wipe gently, and immediately dry thoroughly with a separate dry cloth.
  • Storage: Always store pieces separately in zip-lock bags or the original boxes to prevent scratching and tangling. Include a silica gel packet to absorb moisture. Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity.
6. What should I avoid to keep my jewellery looking new?

Avoid contact with:
• Perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and cosmetics (apply these before putting on jewellery).
• Sweat and moisture.
• Harsh chemicals (cleaning products).
• Abrasive surfaces and other jewellery pieces.

7. Can the earrings be converted for non-pierced ears?

Yes! Most of our stud earrings come with secure butterfly clutches for pierced ears. For many designs, we also offer convertible screw-back or clip-on options. Please check the product description or contact us for specific styles.

8. Are the necklaces adjustable?

Most of our necklaces come with a 2-inch extender chain for adjustability. The specific length and adjustment details are mentioned in each product's description.

9. How do I know my ring size?

We provide a universal ring size chart on our product pages. You can measure the circumference of your finger with a string or use a ring sizer. For statement rings, we often design them in adjustable or flexible styles to fit a wider range.

The stones are high-quality simulated gemstones like cubic zirconia (CZ) or crystal. The pearls are lustrous artificial or acrylic pearls, chosen for their perfect shape and beautiful sheen at an accessible price point.

11. Why do prices vary for artificial jewellery?

Prices reflect the complexity of design, craftsmanship, the quality of materials (e.g., higher-grade alloys, Swarovski crystals vs. regular rhinestones), and the plating thickness. Intricate handcrafted pieces will be priced differently than simpler machine-made styles.

12. Do you offer customization or personalized jewellery?

Currently, we offer a selected range of personalized items like name necklaces or initial pendants. Please check our "Personalized Collection" or contact our customer service for specific requests.

13. What is your return/exchange policy?

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and with all tags attached. Please refer to our detailed Return & Exchange Policy page.

14. How long does shipping take?

Processing time is 1-2 business days. Delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method chosen. You will receive a tracking number once your order is shipped.

15. My jewellery arrived damaged or has a defect. What do I do?

We are sorry to hear that! Please contact our customer support team within 24 hours of delivery at ad.apsaradesigns@gmail.com with your order number and clear pictures of the product and any damage. We will promptly resolve the issue with a replacement or refund.
